Body scrub is a mixture of emolliant and abrasive particles which is rubbed onto the surface of the skin to remove the dead skin cells. Body scrub helps to give smoothy skin and stimulate blood flow. Some of the Homemade Body Scrub Recipes are :

  • Take 1/2 tbsp of squeezed orange juice , one spoon of Vitamin E oil and 1/2 a cup of brown sugar. Mix all these ingrediants then apply to your body and scrub in gentle circular motion. Rinse off and apply a moisturizing lotion to re-hydrate skin.


  • To remove dark patches to arms , apply the mixture of  1 tbsp of cold milk and 1 tbsp of lemon juice. Leave it for 15 minutes then wash . Continue this for 2 weeks. You will get better result.
  • A mixture of two handfuls of crushed sea salt, almond oil to cover the salt and 2 to 3 drops of grapefruit oil. Use this mixture before or during the shower thrice in a week.
  • Aloe Vera also helpful for smoothe sensitive skin.
  • Making Sugar Body Scrub : Take 1 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 a cup of white sugar in a bowl and take one more bowl add 1/4 cup of overboiled coconut oil , 1 or 2 tbsp(s) of lemon juice and a couple drops of essential oils ( which is your choice ) to it. Add this to sugar mixture and stir thoroughly. This sugar scrub exfoliates the skin cells and gives youthful skin.

Some people have found that Body Scrubs can reduce the appearance of cellulite.
